Who is actually doing the work
Worth answering, because on a job like this it matters more than anything on the price list.
The owner does every job. Not a crew, not a subcontractor, not somebody different each visit. The person who quotes you on the phone is the person who turns up.
I have been around this trade since I was a kid and worked for other East Valley companies before running my own. Over 500 jobs since December 2024, all of them in these same few towns, and enough duct systems in Mesa specifically to know what a system is holding before the first register comes off.
That experience is why this site says what it says. Knowing which air duct problems resolve and which ones do not comes from having been wrong about it early on, and it is cheaper for you to read it here than to find out on your own job.
Why the pricing works this way
Because this industry has a reputation and the pricing model is most of the reason for it.
The standard approach is an advertised figure low enough to get somebody through your door, followed by an inspection, followed by a considerably larger number once the registers are off and your morning is committed. It works because the customer has no way to verify anything.
Per-opening pricing removes that. You can walk your house and count vents in two minutes, calculate our price yourself, check it against anybody else, and know before we arrive exactly what the job costs.
It is not generosity. It is the only pricing model in this trade a customer can audit.

What we will tell you that costs us money
Sometimes you do not need this
If your house is not new, has no odor, shows no dust at the registers, no pets, no rodent evidence, and you change a decent filter on schedule, you can leave it. We would rather say that on the phone than take $700.
Your filter matters more than we do
A good filter changed on schedule does more for the air in your house than an annual duct cleaning. That is an argument against our own service and it is true, so we say it.
The health claims are not supported
The EPA's position is that duct cleaning has never been shown to prevent health problems. Every company in this trade knows it and most market as though it is not the case. Our version is on its own page.

What we actually do
- Walk the system with you. Count the openings together, look at the filter and the returns, and give you an honest read on whether this is worth doing at all. On some houses it is not.
- Open it up. Registers come off so we are working inside the runs and the trunk rather than the first arm's length anybody can see from a stepladder.
- Agitate. A flexible air rod with a whip head goes down the run and breaks material off the duct wall where it has settled, instead of only shifting what was already loose.
- Capture it. The system is under negative pressure the entire time, so what comes free leaves the building rather than relocating to another room.
- Registers and grilles. Properly cleaned rather than wiped, because the grille is the part you actually look at every day.
- Show you. Before and after down the same run, so the result is something you can see rather than something you are told.
What we are not
HVAC repair is not something we take on. An upstairs that never gets cold, a smell arriving with every cycle, water somewhere it has no business being, all of those belong to an HVAC company, and running a brush through your ductwork will not touch any of them. You will be told as much.
We are not licensed for mold remediation. Visible growth in a system is a separate trade with separate requirements, and fogging over it would be covering a problem rather than fixing one. You will be told what we can see and who you actually need.
We do not carry certifications we have not earned, and you will not find a badge on this site that does not mean something.
Mesa only
One city, which is why we already know what we are likely walking into. A Dobson Ranch system is probably forty years old and never opened. An Eastmark one still has drywall dust in it. A Leisure World house has been held by the same household for decades and produces more material than anything else in the city.

Questions
What happens when I ring?
Tell us how many openings you counted and the figure comes back on that same call. Nobody comes out to assess first, nobody sits in your kitchen with a clipboard, and no revised number turns up later.
What hours?
7am to 8pm, and same-day is sometimes available depending on the size of the job.
How long will you be here?
Most Mesa homes are a half day. Large properties with high counts or two systems can run most of a day.
Will the price change once you arrive?
Only if the count was wrong, and you hear it before we start rather than after. If you said 12 openings and there are 15, you are told at the door and you decide.
Do you do HVAC repair?
No. If what you actually need is an HVAC company we will say so rather than cleaning your ducts and leaving the real problem in place.
Are you licensed for mold remediation?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Visible growth in a system is a different trade and you need somebody licensed for it.
Card accepted?
Yes, with a receipt by email or text.
